Hi. My Caulfields went to England - Liverpool to be specific - from
Castlebar in County Mayo, we think.
Joseph CAULFIELD married Marcella CALLIGAN / CALLAGHAN - possibly in
Ireland. Their first daughter I know of was born in Liverpool in 1859. She
is recorded as being born in Ireland on the 1861 census, but I have her
birth certificate! She died aged 2. Their second - my great grandfather -
was William Joseph CAULFIELD. By the end of his life he was spelling the
name CORFIELD.
Any of these names ring any bells?

Greetings, My Caulfield ancestors migrated to Chicago, IL USA from
Ireland...perhaps Mayo Co.
Most is a mystery except Michael married Ellen Grogan and first born was
John James,
They settled in St. Joseph, Mo. If you wish to pursue this line...please
