Searching for the parents of Franklin Coffey of Russell Co KY; born
ca
1803 in KY, died in 1862 in Russell Co KY. Franklin married Martha "Patsy"
McGuire. Cleveland, John, Willis are recurring names in the family.
I descend through their son, John A. Coffey (b. 1835) who married Elizabeth
Popplewell of Adair Co.
The only reference I have found for a Franklin Coffey within a family unit
is a Russell Co KY deed dated 1840 which lists the heirs of Sail Coffey
(Salathiel Coffey who married Anna Lynch). However, based on most
material I have read, my Franklin is too old to be their child.
...Levi Aulger and Mary Ann his wife late Polly Ann Coffey, Sarah Coffey,
Eliza Jane Coffey, Franklin Coffey, George Coffey, Lydia Coffey, Adaline
Coffey and Elizabeth Coffey heirs of said Sail Coffey deceased...
Does anyone know this family?
Any help appreciated.
Carol.
