MANSFIELD: Lillian M. Caudill Hicks, 90, of Mansfield,Ohio passed away peacefully and went
to meet with the Lord with her family present on Thursday, November 04, 2010, at
MedCentral Mansfield.
Born February 22, 1920, in Riceville, Kentucky,(Johnson County) she was the daughter of
Thomas Sheridan and Amy (Conley) Caudill.
A graduate of Mansfield Beauty College, Lillian worked for 35 years as a cosmetologist.
She was a member of the Willard United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Morris (Debra) Hicks of Mansfield; daughters, Carolyn (John)
Valentine of Mansfield, and Diana Hicks (Jim) Fuller of Prescott, Arizona; grandchildren,
Jon Valentine of Atlanta, GA, Michael (Amy) Valentine of Castle Rock, CO, Christy (Clint)
Klepp of Racine, WI, Stacy Hicks of Mansfield, and Brian (Pam Augustine) Hicks of
Mansfield; ten great grandchildren; brother, James Caudill of Plymouth, Ohio; sister, Fay
Kessler of Plymouth.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Edward Hicks;
brothers, Raymond Caudill, Lee Caudill, Lonnie Caudill, Powell Caudill, and Ray Caudill;
sisters, Mae Snipes, and Julia Lynch.
Friends may call Sunday, November 7, 2010, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of
Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 8, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Willard
United Baptist Church, 1579 Conwell Ave, Willard, conducted by Pastor Danny Hamilton and
Pastor James Wilson.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Willard
United Baptist Church.
