The website also features two databases developed by inGeneas:
* the inGeneas Passenger List database contains 5,500 records
from passenger manifests for immigrants arriving in
Canada between 1751 to 1873
* the inGeneas Immigration database contains 5,800 records derived
from assorted Canadian immigration documents (different than
those recorded in the National Archives of Canada index)for the
time period of 1748 to 1855
Note: to recoup some of the considerable costs related to the creation
of our inGeneasdatabases, we charge a small fee for records from
our databases; all fees are clearly stated on the order forms.
However, the records in the National Archives of Canada database
are available absolutely free of charge.
We will be constantly adding to the inGeneas databases; we hope you will
be frequent visitor!
