Hello Erica,
As you will have seen, from my attachment sent to Kerry Farmer, that I have been dipping
into those Frank Moberly books that Eric.S.W.Cattley gave to me in 1993 on the occasion of
us meeting at Barnet to attend the William (Orchid) Cattley memorial Service.
Since then, I have been looking through your Stevan Catlay m Elizabeth Jube // Descendants
of Stevan Catlay of Normanton web pages on the Internet and realise that Franks work
possibly contains quite a bit of information as regards to distaff history/tree structure
that could be appended to it as an expansion if needed?
Trouble is that it comprises dates/years/names only with little or no flesh on the bones
and thus to import it as it stands would in one way, dilute the richness of your hard
work. Also, I can not remember what you said concerning the limitations you set yourself
when compiling both works other than to rule a line at -100 years. By that I mean that you
may well have decided not to produce all the distaff information at your disposal?
I see no point in work for the sake of it by extracting everything in Frank's books
but instead suggest that you look at my additions to Kerrys Moberly/Cattley tree. Her data
is in black and my (Frank Moberly) additions are in pink. No doubt you have already
scanned through this and could do a comparison with your own data base to see if Frank has
anything useful to you?
This work of course only involves the Moberly connection to the Cattley Tree but from what
I see, Frank was pretty well clued up on information on other branches as well.
If you think it worthwhile, I am happy to do an extract exercise.
Love ........ Tim
