Tried writing, but it came back. If I had your current mailing address, I would like to
send you a copy of what will be appearing in "The Palatine Immigrant"
eventually. It deals with a 1709er from the Palatine that came to New York in 1710. Then
her son's dau. married Michael Katz. Both Michael and his father-in-law left
Tulpehocken and went to the West Branch of the Potomac.
I have almost 300 pages compiled regarding the family in Germany. Now have about 40
ancestors identified and some minor changes in the first group I produced. Sometime this
week, I will add the church documents to my revised transliteration and translation of
such. There are still blanks in lots of them as some are extremely difficult to make out
what the pastor wrote. I don't promise perfect translation, but as time goes on it
gets better. The basics, dates, places, and realtionships are easy, but some of the other
such of "May God Grant them his blessing" in marriage records, and "May God
for Jesus Christ sake awaken her soul to a joyful resurrection" were almost
impossible as a lot of initials were used. ggg equals the first one "Gott gebeihnen
gluck" , Would love to talk one-on-one.
