Thanks for the response!
A nephew who is sorting items left by his aunt and uncle had found me with
whom to pass on items belonging to his aunt.
The nephew wrote, "I have a "ton" of family history (pictures, letters,
artwork, etc.) on my uncle's family and I have been trying to find a
specific family member who has corresponded with my uncle in the past
regarding family history. Her name is Patricia Whistler Kerr of Kent,
Washington and the family name is Catron. When I tried calling the phone
number I found for her the number was no longer working and when I sent a
letter to the address my uncle had for her, the letter was returned to me
undeliverable. I don't know the age of this woman and I suppose she could
have died but I'm hoping she just moved. Do you know a way ...of finding
this woman?"
The uncle's surname was RUSSELL.
Why in Alaska? My husband dragged me here as a newly-wed? Something like
that! Both of our roots are in Kentucky, but we have been in AK for forty
years. But you! You were here in the 'good ole days'! Wow! Bet you have
stories to tell!
