Hi listers, ladies. In response my grandmother's name was Nellie Caton b.
abt. 1881. Her parent's were John (1835-1923) & Anna (1854-1894) Caton. Gg
grandfather Thomas Caton from NYC.
Anything familiar?
PS: Having just started on the maternal side of our family I don't have a
great deal of info.
Good hunting.

I would be more than happy to help you.....my Caton's are from Virgina....A
Thomas
Caton came from Ireland around 1830 or so....so, we may be connected way
back
in Ireland, and actually that name would be Cayton, the y being dropped with
the immigration....Good Luck.....keep at it....it took me a year and a half
to come up with info, and I starting to get some flow here.
