The family then moved to Oregon Spring by wagon in 1878.
The family homesteaded on the Rogue River in 1879.
They lived on a homestead 8 miles north of Eagle Point until May 1898, then
moved to Forest Creek Oregon, 5 miles from Jacksonville in the Placer mines
for 4 years.
They then went to Kalispell, MT in 1902 with the three youngest, James,
Lucinda and Frederick.
From there they went to Everett, WA in September of 1903.
