I have reviewed your chart and really don't have any proof
one way or the other but I'll bet you are more right than wrong.
The only thing is you have me under the wrong Benjiman, I chased
that Benjiman for about 3 months before I decided that it was the wrong
one. Benjiman -1820 had a son Benjiman -1845 and I thought
that was my line for a while but don't think it is now. Benjiman -
1820 had a younger brother Nathan-1826 who had a son Benjiman
Franklin-1849 that is my great grandfather. I know you put a lot of thought
into that chart and I for one really appreciate it.
Ivan McKee put me onto another book--The History of the 15th Missouri
Calvalry regiment, C.S.A. by Jerry Ponder. I have it ordered and will keep
you updated on what I find. Ponder has written about six books on the
civil war plus other books on Southeast Mo.
