Maybe you might want to research that alittle more. You may find alot of
answers there.
I would bounce it off of your Grandfather first. Keep in mind that most
elders to this day are very slow
to talk about it. Being Native is sometimes very hidden , even in todays
times. But if pushed most
elders will talk with family members only. Sometimes still telling you
not
to tell. This is the way they
were raised. In your research, if you keep coming to dead ends, and lost
people that just disappear
from census records, or alot of name changes, that is a good sign that
they
may be Native.
