R.H. or R.A.CATO in Smith Co. TN, 1790s & Sterling
CATO referred to there in 1808. Any ideas on who R.H.
or R.A.CATO is?? Part of Smith Co. became Sumner...
Also, the Cato-L list is now being archived as a
threaded list. The past 4 months listing are already
there & any future postings will also be there. If
you don't already know about the threaded lists at
Rootsweb, you can go to
http://www.rootsweb.com
There are some really interesting things there in
addition to the threaded lists. I'd also like to
encourage you to post your lines at genforum:
http://www.genforum.com
I am no longer going to be updating the queries on the
CATO page since Gen Forum will do it for me!! :)
Isn't technology great?!!
Bonnie, listowner
P.S. Anyone looking for me can find me at:
mountain_sky(a)yahoo.com for the time being...temporary
address until everything gets moved to my new mail
server here at home. Unfortunately I don't have time
to answer queries personally at this time but if you
post them to the list, maybe someone else can.
P.P.S. Adruain, thanks for the snail mail!!! I really
needed the "nudge" & am happily digging up dead people
again! Hugs to you & yours, Bonnie (& Meg she said!)
