Hello to all! I recently came across the following site and
thought it might be of interest to some. It is the Official Land Patent
Site of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Eastern States, General
Land Office (GLO). It provides live database and image access to more
than 2 million federal land title records for Eastern Public Land
States, dating back to 1820.
The Cato's that I found were:
Alabama: Anderson F., Burrell P., Claiborne, Daniel, Edwin, Elbert W.,
Frank, Green F., Green T., Joice E., Lementon W., Lementon, Lewis W.,
Lota, Phillip W., Phillip, Rebecca A., William M., & William.
Arkansas: Alfred, Amos, Andrew L., Cornelius L., Grandison, James H.,
John H., & Nehemiah.
Florida: Abraham, Arnett, Cadmus, Philip N., Thomas C., Tilmon, &
William W.
Indiana: Green, Isaac R., Jackson, Silas, & William.Louisiana: Henry
R., Madison, & William.
Louisiana: Henry R., Madison, & William.
Mississippi: Alfred, Burrel, Claiborne, Frances, George W., George,
Henry, Joseph W., Lamento W., Lemanton N., Lemington N., Lemontom W.,
Lewis, & Sterling.
Missouri: Caleb, Daris, Davis, Granderson, Grandison, Henry, Nathaniel,
Needham, Peter, Richard, Warren, William, Wilson, & ?.
The other states in the eastern section, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio,
& Wisconsin, did not list any Cato's.
The address for this is

Thought this might be useful to anyone who doesn't already know about
this site.
Take care and stay cool!
