Hey, this is great, Tim! I think this William would be the Christopher's brother. Was
Nancy in the same graveyard? And did William's tombstone have a date of death?
I have wondered if there might be church records for this family.... was the graveyard
associated with a church? There was a group of Catholics who came to GA from Maryland
around 1790, but I don't find any Catos mentioned in those records, at least the ones
I have checked.
There is a Wilkes County marriage record for Thomas Cato, the one I think is another
brother:
Thomas Cato to Elizabeth FALLEN/Fallin 24 Dec 1840 Wilkes County
I didn't find a marriage record for William.

I went to Gordon County today and found the grave of William Cato born in
1819. This William is probably the brother of Christopher? I also found
the grave of Nancy Cato the sister to my Molly. Tim
