John,
I wonder what information this tax record shows? Is it just names on a list, or does it
mention any property/tithes/etc.
Thanks,
Cynthia

Cynthia,
I checked my copy of the 1815 Territorial Taxes for the County of Cape
Girardeau and found James "Catto" listed in German Township; this would be in
present day Bollinger County. I do not have any other Missouri tax lists for 1815.
Hope this helps,
John
