Subject: [CATO] MD : searching for Benjamin Cator 1800's
Hi,
I just joined this list.
I'm searching for information on Benjamin Cator (George could be a second
name), most likely from Prince Georges County MD, perhaps around what is
now Andrews Air Force Base. He was married to Louisa Burgess, b 1814, in
1835 (marriage license from Anne Arundel County, MD); he had 4 children
that I know about : Sarah Anne, b 1836 (married and lived in Washington,
DC), John Charles, b 1838, probably died at birth, Jane Elizabeth, b 1839
(married and lived in Washington, DC), Mary Eliza, b 1842 (married and
lived in Baltimore, MD). He most likely died between 1842 and 1850, and
was definitely dead by 1860.
Jean Colison
great great granddaughter of Benjamin and Louisa Cator
