Needham was one of the five brothers (we think they
were brothers) who followed 1755 Sterling Cato to Mo early 1800's. Needham,
Sterling Jr, Richard, Lewis and Henry. Needham and Sterling left Mo and
relocated in Arkansas. We have started a DNA project and it indicates we are
of Eastern Europe descent. If anyone knows a male, Needham descendant, who
would like to be tested, the cost is $101 for a 12 marker test. We are using
familytreedna.com. Currently have 4 members enrolled.

Several genertaions in my family claim to be descended from Cherokees.
Needham
seems to be a missing link of sorts - from what I've been told, he
should be the first 100% Cherokee in my family. Does anyone have any
evidence to that effect or know where such information can be found?
