If you need a marker for a Veteran you can do the following
Form can be found at VA benefits form
http://www.va.gov/forms/benefits.htm
Or go to your local Veterans Administration office and
obtain form (va form 1995(R) 40-1330) Fill it out and
send it to the address provided on the form. The marker
will be sent directly to you via UPS at no cost. You have
a choice of three flat markers, light gray granite, white marble,
or bronze. Two upright markers light gray granite, and white
marble also available is 1 bronze niche for use if entombment
is in a columbarium or masoleum. You may also choose an
enblem that symbolizes the persons religious belief.
These markers are for all veterans who served their country.
You can put the marker down yourself simply by building
a form 2-3 inches larger than the marker, pour a bag of
quickrete in the form, mix with water and smooth. Wait until
the mix is firm and place the marker in the Quickrete
