Hi Marsha & everyone on the Cato list!
(To everyone on the list, I apologise if I haven't written back in the
last couple of days - I'm helping my mother-in-law move & haven't had a
chance to do anything else!)
Anyhow, can anyone help Marsha??? (See below)
Thanks!
Bonnie

Dear Bonnie,
In going through your web site (it's great - lots of hard work there!),
I
noticed some interesting things and maybe you can help me further?
There was a Cato Reed who lived in Washington Co., IN. in the mid-later
part of the 1800's. I noticed on one of your pages you listed Reed's as
a
connecting family. I could not find any other mention of the Reed name.
Do you happen to have further?
Also, I noticed that you had: ?George Cato (b: before 1736, NC) md.
Martha
BEAMON. Do you happen to have any further on these Beamon's?
Last, I noticed where there was listed a W. PEAVY, MG on some marriage
records. Do you think he had anything further connected to the Cato's?
My ancestor, Anderson PAVEY, 1790-1855, was the son of John PAVEY
(Sometimes spelled PEAVY),
Anderson married Pemina Allene BEAMON (b: 1799, NC) no marriage record
ever
found.
CATO REED, I believe (have to double check my records), was buried in
Newby
Cem., Washington Co., IN., where Anderson Pavey is buried.
Does any of this sound familiar to you? That's just about all I have
after
20 years of research!
Thank you.
