Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Madison Co was a sister to Thomas as she is later
listed as Jerimiah Spencer as a witness in the will of
Thomas

family listed as an orphan indicating that his father
did probably die in Alton in prison and his Mother was
also dead. William Grimsley was a next door neighbor
to Old Henry and Polly and was also the first sheriff
of Bollinger Co Mo. William Grimsley was a Major in
the confederate army and was smuggled out of the
County under a load of loose hay by the Cato Slaves.
They fled to Boydsville Arkansas. Rebecca was living
2 drs down from the Grimsley's in the 1870 census and
was married to Benjiman Franklin Nicholas--They moved
to Abilene Tx and raised their family.
