No problem :)
You're right -- the problem with this is that there are NO sources. No idea if Leyborn
is accurate or where the info comes from.
It's 9 pages, plus 2 more sheets -- photocopies of front and back of a photograph
labeled as such: "1. Harry Catlin: my great grandfather; 2. Charlie Keeler: Harry
Catlin's aunt's grandson, 21 years old; 3. Julius Catlin: Harry Catlin's
uncle; 4. Luther Catlin: Harry Catlin's great grandfather 100 years old, born 1784. 4
generations of Catlins go into town on 4 horse (can't read, written very light) to
vote. youngest is 21 years and oldest is 100 years." I have no idea who wrote this...
my dad thinks it might have been his cousin, but we can't find how (she may have
thought the Earl(e) here is ours, but he is too young, b. 1924, 8 years before my
grandfather -- my dad says she is not too bright so it might have been her, haha).
And yes! It mentions son John and his sons (among others) Samuel, b. 1672, and Benjamin,
b. 1 Feb 1680. It also lists their children. I can type it out if you want, but I think
I've typed enough for now, so I'll only do it if you want it. :) Does it sound
familiar at all? I'm wondering if I have a copy of something lots of Catlin
genealogists have... would be nice to know what this packet even comes from! Haha.
