Glad to help another Catlin researcher! I know what you mean about the black hole of NY
recordkeeping. My ancestor had 9 children born in Lockport, and nary a birth record for
any of them. But I thank you for your offer of help for Chenango County.
Norris and Betsey also had Elisha Homer Catlin, b. 8/22/1827 in Pitcher Springs, NY. He d.
12/25/1899 in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and in between, he married Margaret McLane (no date
given). They had a son, Fred, b. 1866.
After Roxanna, who m. Jared Burdick, came Miranda, and you already know who she married.
No dates for either daughter.
That booklet is available at the Ct State Library, the Ct Historical Society, both at
Hartford, the Godfrey Memorial Library down in Middletown, Ct, or, closer to you, at the
Litchfield Historical Society in Litchfield, Ct. Haven't found it any where else, and
I live in Massachusetts.
Hope this helps fill out your family tree!
