Hi All,
Not sure if this has any bearing on the matter but thought I would mention
it.I found a Jospeh Longbottom Catley in Hartlepool.
Perhaps he was doing his own family tree and thought he would use your
knowledge!!

Hi Erica,
No, I realise you are "not guilty" because my information on Gerald
Wildman
mostly comes from our origional Tree plus input from Gerald Coveney
plus
Frank Moberly and what I have managed to access myself from numerous
archives.
Since you mention him, do please tell me what Alan Longbottom was upto?
He
seems to have targeted "our Cattley Tree's Wills" in a
big way. First
realised this from Mick Catleys letters plus summaries to me some five
years
ago but never got to the bottom of his motives seem to have read
somewhere
that he was at Leeds Uni when he did this project and wondered if it
was
because of all the Russian Cattley Archive there??
As to the CWGC site, I have identified all the Cattleys for both Wars with
the exception of that Bedfordshire Regiment entry which puzzles me but I
am
working on him!
If your info on Gerald Wildman Cattley matches mine exactly, then
obviously
Alan Longbottom must have been in contact with another of our Tree
because
such info is NOT contained in Wills! I wonder who and when?
I can not quite understand which Roll Anthony Catley is quoting from, it
does not match the CWGC info so I wonder if it is the new Australian one
that you mention? Must access it myself to find out.
Did I tell you, I have found military refrences to Cattleys working in
Russia in 1918/19? Suppose I did.
Best wishes + regards Tim----- Original Message -----
