Addendum.
I forgot when I did my last e-mail, that I also have information on the
following:-
Marmaduke Cattley of Wakefield c 1857 and
John Cattley of Barton-le-Willows c 1844.
Have not yet managed to put these mini trees into IT format but will do so
soon, in the meantime, if anyone wants info then just shout.
ERICA:- will work on them all and then send them to you as an excel bundle
of 8 individual trees.
add to that the Normanton, Anstey and Lincs lines and that totals 11sets of
Cattley Trees.
Regards to all, Tim

Subject: Re: [CAT...] Individual Cattley trees
Hi All,
Just to let you know, for anyone "doing" Cattley as opposed to Catley that
I
have the basis of nine individual Trees mapped out. This has been
an
ongoing project,on and off, for a number of years now and made a lot
easier
by joining this Net.
Am excluding both my own, the Anstey and Lincolnshire Trees from the
equation because either the history is already well known or there are
already sufficient persons "on the case" as it were.
The remaining six that I have isolated are not currently being worked upon
that I know of, with the possible exception of Charles of Greenwich
(Camberwell Cattleys) where Eileen here in the UK and her brother Alan
over
in Canada have more than a passing interest but I do not think are
actually
active on research at present.
Tree title Location
year start research
William Cattley Leeds
c. 1848
Charles Cattley Greenwich
c. 1861 (Camberwell Cattleys)
Herbert Cattley Wakefield
c. 1865
William Cattley Tadcaster
c. 1855
Thomas Cattley Scacroft
c. 1830 (Pennsylvania Cattleys)
Arthur Samuel Cattley Hackney c.
1890
I have managed to isolate the above Pedigrees from Gerald Coveneys PRO
extracts in conjunction with written communication with members of said
Trees and have "knocked them off" his list of outstanding Cattleys. The
remaining unattached Cattley records suggest that around a further three
or
four "unknown Trees" exist centered on London, Leeds and
probably Hull.
I suspect that all the Yorkshire ones are probably related way back.
If anyone wants information on any of above, give me a shout.
Regards Tim
.
