Dear listers,
I am feeling very left out here !! .. you all seem to be researching in
Lincs
or London, or wherever, and you all seem to have connections to each other -
tenuous or otherwise..!!!!!
Can you spare a thought for we lonely souls researching LEEDS or other parts
of Yorkshire (or BURNLEY Lancs)..... and if you come across anything which
could
be ours please let us know. I have excellent records after 1837, but
unfortunately
the family I am interested in had their babies in the 1820's, which was very
inconsiderate of them . If any of you know anyone who has access to the
PR's
of St Peter's, Leeds, please let me know.
Thanks !
Kay
p.s. Tim mentioned recently the number of active Cat(t)ley researchers, and
to
that list we can add my relative Barry Catley, who lives in Toronto
(although not
on this mailing list). An active YORKS researcher for many years.

Dear Jocelyn,
Glad you are better and the jobs still there. My Liz is still working on
her veteran's bloods. Did not know it would take so long. But the
answers all take time don't they?
Doris Burns had the document. Thought she'd given me a copy, but can't
find it.
She got it from the St Pauls burials Register .
The writing was quite clear for 'decline'. There was no coronors report
for a drowning (I looked in the archives ) as there had not been one.
Anyway will have another search through my stuff and if I can't find it,
I'll get another from Doris.
Best wishes,
Anne
