To Marge and Kay,
I think the time has come for you both to communicate direct because we know that both
your ancestors are from the Leeds area and there is a very good chance that they come from
a common ancestory as Kay will attest.
I have compiled for both of you Marges "Pennsylvania Cattley Tree" so you both
know where this starts from. Maybe Kay can "pick up" on John Catley, a Maltser
by trade who lived in Seacroft (Leeds) and in 1820, married Catherine Dawson.
She already has him listed through a previous visitation to the Yorkshire Archives, hot
foot ex Australia to do it and will be doing so again in spring 2004.
It would thus be to your advantage Marge to bring James Marshall Cattley into play here
and introduce him to Kay if both branches of the Pennsylvania Cattley Tree wish to avail
themselves of any research information that Kay might glean via the Archives?
My job is to co-ordinate things but not direct, all I can do is to point out and assist.
Thus I say again, latch on to Kay if Pennsylvania Cat*leys wish to understand their
English Roots?
