Ok, so you have taken the Catleys from the free BMD and THEN also added the
ones from the 1837 site which are not on free BMD. So the list on the
Catley
page consists of both...
yes, excellent..we give you the details of the ones we know are ours, and
you add our name, and then we can contact the name if we think we might have
a cross over..terrific..what a good job you have done...
So you will need info from us like this??:-
Name Quarter Year Area
Ernest Catley December 1886 Lambeth
LIZC
????

Hi Kay,
I do sound confusing half the time!! I think its because I have given up
smoking and my brain is working faster than I'm typing!!
What I have done is print off the Catley BMD from Freebmd and I am also
adding to my list the ones that are missing to give to Chris for his site,
this will help new people until freebmd have transcribed all. Then I am
putting peoples names by the bmd so we will all have a record of who has
proved that the record belongs to them. Then we can look at the list and
see who is left over and see if we can then relate to that person. This
saves people ordering a cert unnecessary.
For example
Ernest Catley married Dec Q 1886 Lambeth 1d 822 well he is mine and I have
the cert. If other people are looking for relatives in Lambeth I can then
tell them who this person is and the other details saving them £7. plus.
Hope this is not to long winded
Liz

Sorry, Liz, i am not sure what you mean by this.. do you mean that
your
list
on the
Catley page that you have extracted from 1837 site.. you can add to by
putting our
names against each person we know to be ours???

> Hi All,
> Thanks Anthony for the start. As Tim is quite busy with the Cattley side
of things, I dont mind offering my services to gather the Catley clan
together and start putting together all information on BMD so that we all
have a list of every single Catley then we can discuss who is left and see
if they fit into our various tree's or even if they belong to the Cattley
clan as Tim discovered the other day.
> If you dont want to print of the Roots list for BMD I have a copy I can
put every bodies names next to your ancestor and then send out a list of
who
is left for further debated.
> Give me some idea of what you all think please. All I would need is the
name Quarter, Year and Area. I dont need actual dates or even who they
married, but I think it would need to be from 1837 - 1900 to start with.
Also it would need to be for people who came from England during this time
