Thanks Erica.
Joan has responded already but to get the full picture I think I shall have
to open communications again with Susan Judd in Buffalo as she too has lots
of American/Canadian Cattley information to hand.
As for Timothy Cattley 1830 ... well thanks for looking him up in Ulumni
etc, I knew I was going to have troubles with him because having only
recently transcribed all the BMD's ex Gerald Coveney, I was very much aware
that there was no reference to him whatsoever.
As you surely correctly say, Timothy was not an "in name" and thus hardly
one you could miss as they must have been few and far between I would have
thought. Still, it is good to know that I had a predecessor on someones
Tree ie, that I am not alone in the names department!
Love ........ Tim

Hi Tim,
Yes, sorry I can't help with the Canadian/NewZealand CATTLEYs - I have
bare
details and leave the rest to Joan.
As to Timothy Cattley 1830 I have drawn a blank. Timothy, though
Biblical,
was not in common use then. Can't find him in Oxford or
Cambridge Ulumni
records, nor in my 1868 Crockfords. Maybe he did his MA at Edinburgh or
some other University.
Cheers......... E
