Hello Erica et al,
Doubtless you will get responses on this one from Mick Catley and maybe
others as well.
I think that the person you have uncovered is George Henry Cattley 1891-1983
who is a member of the Anstey Cat*ley Tree.
This Tree is interesting in that the Sir Name was spelt with both one and
two T's in the Anstey Parish Register over a number of generations but with
the emphasis being on the single version in about 70% of cases.
Mick and others, plus myself have most this Tree logged but there are Issue
in the USA that are unhappy about this branch being discussed or mentioned
in public and as such I will not indicate more via Rootsweb.
I could send you a copy of my own researches into this Tree which pre-dates
information gained from American members and gives a full Anstey genealogy
but this will be on a private basis only.
Suffice it to say that the history here is known to a number of us.
Regards to all Tim

Hi Tim and All,
This came from my Rootsweb search system. I have a record of George H
CATTLEY in the US shown as being born around 1892 in the US, but with no
parents listed. I don't have US
ancestry.com access, so if anyone on the
list does would you please be kind enough to see what you can find.
You may well know all about him Tim; if could so please fill me in.. I
realise this is possibly/probably your tree so you may well know all about
it.
I lightly took on an audio editing job for a friend who was doing some
work
for a government department. At this point in time I estimate that
the
allocated pay for this job amounts to about 20c per hour. We live and
learn. It's nearly finished and I shall be free of that constraint, in
addition to the time consumed by hydro and physiotherapy. I shall be
back as someone (McArthur ??) once said.
As ever...... Erica
