That might be a sign of their sanity Tim ..!!!
I sometimes wonder how one finds the (scope) of records that are missing
(war / fires etc)
I cannot find two of my grandparents birth certs - despite knowing date and
place of birth.
Has anyone any bright ideas?

We live in hope Kay!
What bugs me is that I know of a number of current Yorkshire Cattley
families that could well be related way back and whilst they are quite
happy
to communicate and volunteer known information which in most cases
only
goes
back 3-4 generations, they are not enthused enough to do any basic
research
themselves.
When asked (about every 2 years, by self) the answer is a bright "oh yes,
we
do intend to get around to it" but the day never seems to come!
Frustrating or what?!
Tim
