Thank you Jocelyn and Anthony,
Sorry about my hiccup in communications. As you indicate, this
information must relate to the persons in my search as it is just
too coincidental to be otherwise.
I note that Vernon Aspital is featured in three public members
tree contributions but none of them show that he married an
Ellen Cattley which is odd considering that the GRO record
is there for all to see.
Oakley's do seem to feature quite strongly in N'hants but I
can not find anything that suggests a connection with either
Cat*ley or Aspinal.
Searches for a suitable Ellen Cat*ley wife/mother show few
"unallocated" ones and none that I can find born locally.Main
possibles appear to be a 2 x t born 1877 in York and another
2 x t born 1879 in Wakefield.......both a longish trot down
to N'hants.
Tim

Yes, that's my problem Peter !
None of them fit into any of the "known Cat*ley trees" on my list.
Still, will keep plodding on, the All Catley bmd spreadsheet is now at
4.27
MB and still growing !
Regards
Tim
