Dear All,
I am sending you a snippet from a Heath who is doing the DNA thing on any Heath who
is agreeable, and this is what he sent to me awhile back:-
"Just checking to see if you are interested in paritipating in the DNA program. We
now have 9 participants. It costs $99 U.S. each for a 12 marker test. Since I last wrote
to you I have made two breakthroughs. One is to find a new branch of Heaths that separated
from my Heaths in about 1735. The two groups had the same parents. Also I have been able
to push the family back another 100 years to 1623. The Thomas claimed to have lived 95
years seems to have been a combination of two different Thomas Heaths whose data got mixed
up."
1. Clearly he is getting the sort of results which would be mighty handy for
some of us. I believe he is in the UK.
2. Prices: Currently $US 99 equals:
Australian $129
Brit 54 pounds
NZ $141
3. I will contact him again, and find out where he did the tests and maybe contact the
Lab
and find out a bit more.
We are obviously on a learning curve here, so let's find out as much as we can.
Regards
kayh
