Dear all,
Looking at Tim's address here in the 'from' line (below), it occurs to me that
spammers
who are constantly trawling the net for email addresses have a golden
opportunity. As I have my email address on various genealogical sites, I
get a fair bit of spam anyway, as I know we all do.
Question:
a) Can spammers extract addresses from items like this?
b) Can Tim remove his email address from this 'from' line, if he wants to?
c) Is it worth doing?

As a side note, I recently got someone to install a small router/ethernet thing
in my computer
which apparently deters all but the most dedicated hackers ( who would be
unlikely to be interested in my computer anyway). It was about $A120 for the
box, and the installation wasn't expensive.
