Yes indeed Liz,
But look and see how many Cat*leys carried their mothers maiden name as a
2nd or 3rd christian name.
For example Newmarsh which keeps cropping up which I think is on the Lincs
Catley lines through (I think from memory) is due to a Sarah Newmarsh
marrying a Catley.
The same in my Tree where both my father and my sister have Moberly as a 3rd
christian name which denotes a Cattley/Moberly marriage.
Such "pointers" are most useful indeed.

I have also noticed that on the 1871 census there are some people using
Catley and
Cattley as their first names and there are a few with Catley as
middle names.
Something I never thought of looking at before. If any body on the
list
doesnt have access to the 1871 census on Ancestry let me know and I will do
a look up.
