Hi Everyone,
This came to me via my personal mailing list at Rootsweb :

Subject: Gainsboro Wkhouse1
Posted by Anne Cole
The Gainsborough minutes consist mainly of two types of list. The first of
able bodied paupers given out relief due to illness, just names and the
parish, presumably, to which they are chargeable.
The second, payments made for lunatics, just name and an amount of money. I
will list the lunatics at the end as the lists are very repetative.
Gainsborough Union contained a small part of Nottinghamshire. If any one on
the Notts list would like to forward these, please do. Remember, ** after an
entry means there is more information. Email me if interested in the full
entry. No ** means there is no further information.
