the below family is of the Cridling Stubbs lot. I don't think anyone
is particularly interested in them at this point.. (Chris sent it back to me
because I didn't have the reference !!! - sorry Chris)

Subject: [CAT...] Catley Database update
Hi Everyone,
I have just installed the latest update of the Catley Database, with
around 145 new events and 6 new census entries.
Would all contributors note that database maintenance is a time consuming
task and that in future I intend to be more selective about what I put in.
Material submitted in the standard format using the data fields below [or
a subset of them] and in the order below will be accepted:
Year, Date, Event, Forename, Surname, Relationship, Relatives, Place,
County, Source, Notes, SubmittedBy
Here is good example:
28 Oct 1711, M, Robert CATLEY and Mary Shillito, Featherstone, YKS, PR,
G: of Featherstone Moor, B: of Purston (Child: Robert b. 6 June 1715 ,
John b. 17 Dec 1712 Featherstone), Kheath
Data which would require extensive reformatting or with significant fields
such as dates and sources missing will in future be ignored.
Material intended for inclusion in the database should be submitted in a
message clearly titled 'Catley Database Submission'. It would also be
helpful if submissions could be in largish batches [at least 10 records]
rather than coming in dribs and drabs.
Note that census data will not be accepted without a full TNA reference
[Year, Class, Piece Number, Folio Number and [preferably] Page Number].
The 1881 and 1901 censuses are now available on-line and no further
submissions from these years will be accepted. In fact, within a few years
I anticipate that all UK census data will be available on-line, at which
point the census pages in the Catley Database will no longer be required.
Sorry to 'read the riot act' but the last update took all day and I do
have other things to do.
With best wishes
Chris
