Yes Mick ,I guess I got the the christian name of the Thriplow groom wrong
but as I recall he was from Fowlmere . I will of course check with my
records when I can track down the paper I transcribed it on.. I was emailing
off the top of my head before shutting down and scooting awway to the UK for

Boyds Marriage Index for Cambridgeshire has a marriage of Sarah
Catley and George Barker at Thriplow, Cambridgeshire 9 May 1747. I
wonder if this is an error in recording the given name of the groom.
