Howdo Mick,
Re yours of the 13th: Yes I rather thought that you had "singled down" to that
key person ie James Catley of Barley (Hertfordshire) from whom the great Anstey
(Hertfordshire) and Tisbury (Wiltshire) lines emanate.
So, you have both the Cambridgeshire and Essex Catleys "on standby" as possible
links to James as well. Interesting thought that James is the central link here.
I take your lumper approach myself but as the purpose of the Roll Call is to advise
visitors to Chris' web site as to which persons are researching what Tree, I think I
will record you as a splitter..
As for indicating our individual primary and secondary scope interests, I understand what
you infer but I think we will drive poor Chris crazy if we were to expect him to put
chapter and verse on his web pages.
Think that name/year/location/county should be sufficient record for anyone browsing the
pages to be able to "connect" with their searches.
No doubt Chris will have taken your suggestions on board and when he gets the update from
self, he will condense things his way to still give readers key point information on which
researchers are the most likely ones to be able to assist them.
I will thus condense peoples input but must leave it to Chris to make the choice as to how
exactly to finalise the input onto his web pages.
Regards Tim
