Hi Celia
Thanks for that - I've been in contact with Queensland State Archives who
gave me details I needed for ships sailing from London to Townsville but
they couldn't help me with ships going the other way! I will try Queensland
Family History Society next - thank you!

Subject: [CAT...] Migrant ships
Hi everyone
I'm wondering if anyone can give me any information as to the best place to
locate shipping records for the late1800's and early 1900's. I am trying to
trace passenger lists for three ships that left London for Brisbane,
Queensland (destination Townsville/Charters Towers) in 1888, 1891 and 1901
and also passenger lists for ships that left Brisbane/Townsville bound for
London in 1899/1900?
I would be really grateful for any assistance,
Thanks
Sharon (White)
