I ordered the film from the LDS and have been reading it in one of their
libraries,
so they obviously have access to it. I suppose I could always ask them.
I also remember seeing a map, when I was in the Cornish Records Office (in
Truro) which showed the coverage of the IGI in Cornwall, and Gwennap didn't
seem to be covered at all. I think there were some church authorities who
declined to let the LDS film their records. May be wrong about that.

This may simply be a case of which source was made available to the
LDS
and as a consequence, what actually survives and is legible.
I know that in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, the majority of the IGI
entries for these counties is based on the Bishops' Transcripts not the
Parish Registers.
