Dear all,
I hasten to add that I too have been guilty of this...

Subject: [CATLEY] Names in Messages
Hi All,
Kay Heath has drawn my attention to the fact that, in the excitement
of the DNA testing, we are perhaps becoming a little loose about
identifying living people on the web.
So, just to reiterate, it is okay that you put your own name on
emails obviously, but be careful about naming and locating living
relatives.
I would also suggest that it is not a good idea to put your home
address or telephone numbers in messages. Heaven knows, we already
get far too many unwanted calls from people in far-flung places who
have no idea of world time-zones.
Cheers.. Erica Hills (List Administrator)
