Glad to hear that you are "still with us" John!
No indeed, realise that you are pretty well involved at present trying to
stop the deportation of a worthy asylum seeker and to chivvy you would be
counter productive at this time.
Knew that you would get back to us as and when you could.
Liz Cordingly is our Familytreedna co-ordinator and she will be informed
automatically that you have ordered the Y37 marker kit (good choice by the
way) and you should get your test kit in about a week I think.
We then will have to wait around some six weeks for the results. Again, Liz
gets advance info and will probably drop you an e-mail to say "expect
results in a couple of days".
Your dna results will be fascinating John because we obviously know that
your roots are solid Lincolnshire from circa 1700's and from what we know
from parish records, that County has the greatest concentration of Cat*leys.
It is still early days for Cat*ley dna but your dna could be used by us as a
benchmark if one subscribes to the Gilbertine Priory theory and that all
Catleys originate from Lincs?
Time will tell.
Best wishes, Tim
