Tim:
I think Herbert George belongs on the Midsomer Norton Tree. I have a
Herbert
George Catley born 1884 (Barton Regis) Clifton Gloucestershire to
George
Catley and his wife Mary Jane Shearn, grandson of Francis Catley and his
wife Louisa Norman, and great grandson to Francis Catley and his wife
Joanna
Taylor (which is where my branch meets his!
In later records he is noted as crossing the Atlantic on a number
occasions
(in and out of Southampton) and his profession is listed as Servant
(Butler).
