Thanks for that David,
Just thought it worth the question.
OK. Understand re the "one off hit".
Note that two or three Listers have subscribed WW1 + WW2 CWRC Cat*ley
information for Chris' database which interests me because I have been
thinking for some time now about a project of researching those who lost
their lives ......... which Cat*ley Tree........... which Military
Unit............... which campaign................circumstances relating
etc.
I got quite a long way down this path on one of my own Tree members kia 30th
November 1917 Battle of Cambrai, Western Front........ right down to the
date and time.........fascinating if one has an interest in military
history.
Regards
Timc

The list I sent was a one-off opportunity I had to acquire the data - as
you
will gather it has additional snippets to that which is normally
found
when
searching the CWCG website.
There are no naval records listed on the CD - nor any trace for your
African
reference.
The National Archives 'quick' search box is always worth a try @
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/search/quick_search.aspx?j=t
My main objective is merely to post CAT*LEY data oddments as and when I
find
them.
