Hi All,
Just to remind those of you who are currently researching the James Catley of Barley 1709
Hertfordshire, Tree, that includes both the Barkway and Anstey connections, plus Gt
Chishall and Clavering branches:-
To keep in mind, in your researches, that may possibly take you further East into Essex?
That there are researchers who have ancestors in the Halstead and Stistead, Essex areas.
The Halstead Catley connection was, if I remember correctly, engaged in the silk weaving
trade and you will find the connections on Chris' Database.
Stistead to Clavering is but 19 miles so there is a possibility that connections exist?
Regards
Timcatt
