Hi Chris,
Have you ever come across the earlier children of Ann Catley that are not
the Lascelles. As her early life was I think in and around where my
Catley family were living, do you think it would be possible that there may
be a connection and that there may be more Catley trees beginning with her.

Hi Everyone,
I have a summary page about Ann Catley on my website at:
http://www.rebus.demon.co.uk/biogs/a_catley.htm
She is buried at St. Mary's, Ealing, just 600 yards from where I live
but there is no stone in the churchyard and I have never managed to fit
her into any of the extant Catley trees.
Her father, who may have been named Robert, was apparently coachman to
the Quaker Robert Barclay.

Hi All,
Found this article in Your Family Tree March 2014 issue, it reads as
follows.
Mac Family Tree
Ancestry.co.uk has been digging into the roots of 66 year old rocker Mick
Fleetwood. The site’s researchers found that his 4 x great-grandmother was
Anne Catley, a leading entertainer in 18th century London. Catley was so
popular with Georgian society that she could charge 40 guineas per night
(£5000 today). Fleetwood’s 6 x great-grandfather was also the 9 x
great-grandfather of Diana, Princess of Wales.
Not sure who can claim Anne Catley is one of their ancestor’s.
Liz
