Dear Graeme,
My sincere thank's for this. With the probable exception of Thelma Catley
having married a second time, to a Duff, it looks as if my quest re
this particular "Australian Catley outcome" is nearly at an end thank's
to yourself, Derek and Mick.
It is outside my Catley research remit to investigate further down female
colateral lines, so I will be leaving the Lucy Dora Noble and her marriage
and death as uninvestigated.
However, I still have a number of unresolved AU Catley entries in my
main bmd spreadsheet which I could do with some additional
assistance with, not in one hit of course so as not to be seen too daunting.
Regards and thank's again for your help
Tim

Tim,
There is a death for a Thelma DUFF, Fa William Catley, Mo Grace
Winifred NOBLE at Carlton Victoria in 1972.
Coupled with an earlier marriage for a Thelma Catley to George
Frederick MUMFORD in Victoria in 1933
It appears that Thelma may have been married twice?
There is a death for a Lucy Dora JACOBS, Fa Unknown NOBLE, Mo Unknown
at Kew Victoria in 1973
There is a marriage for a Lucy Dora NOBLE to Mark JACOBS in Victoria in
1914
The Victorian Electoral Rolls (
Ancestry.com) have Lucy Dora JACOBS
and a Mark JACOBS (labourer) living at the same address in
Abbotsford in 1919, 1931 (and entries for later years up to 1972
which I did not look at).
There is also a son Mark JACOBS born in Carlton in 1916
Hope this helps a little.
