probably stands for Collingwood, a suburb of Melbourne. I refer you to
http://online.justice.vic.gov.au/bdm/home where you find that only two
William's were born in Victoria, one 1860-1865, the other 1865-1870, & no
Winifred Grace, just a Winifred, Rather looks like they migrated in or
were
born elsewhere in Oz.

arrivals and departure lists as follows.
09/07/1920 arrival Melbourn to London on the SS Ormonde :-
Grace Winifred Catley age 31
Thelma Catley age 4.
22/07/1921 departure London to Melbourn on the SS Demonthenes :-
Grace W Catley age 31...........UK departure address given as 232 Victoria
Square, Oldham Rd, Manchester
Thelma Catley age 6...............ditto.
I also have the following :-
1915 William Catley, Victoria, AU married Winifred Grace Noble.
and
1950 C Wood Victoria, Grace Winifred Catley death age 61.
Can anybody fill in the missing bits ?
