Good evening Tim,
Thanks for this.
I was wondering if there was a connection between Thomas of Escrick and
Edmund of Bilton.
I am fairly certain that No 5, John of Westminster, is Zachariah Catley's
father. The address provided with his burial in 1837 is the same address of
his wife Elizabeth and one of his sisters when they died and the address
Zachariah and his family left when they set out for NZ in 1839. On Ancestry
there's a John Catley death in 1779 in Paddington, which also fits better
with John of Westminster. There is also another John Catley who was buried
in 1849, lived in a Workhouse, and was born ~1774. Don't know where he fits
in.
Does this make sense ?
Cheers
Jocelyn
