Good afternoon Pat,
Thank you for the lead on these NZ Catley's. Look's as if I had not
identified any of the children of William Edward Catley and his spouse Annie
Edith Wadman.
They are all members of the Joseph Catley of Royston tree and this NZ branch
stems from their emigration in 1875. I should have spotted that William
Edward was born in or near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk in 1870.

Hi Tim
Looking at Papers Past New Zealand, Edith could be the sister of
Norman Catley who was killed in action on 5 January 1943 (aged 37)
while serving in the Middle East. His parents are Mr and Mrs W Catley, of
Onehunga.
Looking at the military records his parents were William Edward and
Annie Edith Catley.
An earlier marriage announcement in Papers Past records the marriage
of William Edward Catley, third son of William Catley to Annie Edith
Wadman both of Onehunga.
Hope this might help you identify Edith.
Cheers
Pat
